Trucell e-Ordering - Privacy Policy

The Trucell e-Ordering Application (Application) is owned and operated by Trucell Pty Ltd, located at Level 1, 448 Church Street, Parramatta, NSW 2150, Australia. The terms “Trucell”, “we”, “us” or “our” refer to Trucell Pty Ltd.

We facilitate the seamless electronic exchange of significant patient information, referrals, and reports via an application program interface that connects Medical Clinics (Clinicians) with independent radiology or other specialists (Providers) to facilitate the transmission of e-Referrals and bookings for patients and their representatives (Referrers) using our Application and proprietary software Portal (Services).

These terms apply to all users (including Clinicians, Referrers, Providers, and patients) (“you” or “your”) of our Services, Software, or any products accessible via the Application, unless you are accessing our Services via a third-party platform, in which case a separate privacy policy or terms of use may apply

We reserve the right to modify or remove portions of this policy or the terms of use at any time. We do not make any representations about third-party websites that may be linked to our Application

How our Services Work

We operate independently and oTer our Services to Clinicians, Referrers, Providers, and patients for a fee. We do so as a service provider and not as an agent for any party.

We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of information collected, particularly information that can identify an individual (personal information). If we ask you to provide any information by which you can be identified, we assure you it will only be used in accordance with these terms, the Australian Privacy Principles, and the Privacy Act of 1988.

By using our Application, Services, or other products recommended by us, you consent to us processing the personal information (including sensitive personal information) collected from you in accordance with our terms.

Our terms may be updated periodically, and we recommend reviewing them regularly. If you believe our terms fall short of your expectations or that we are not adhering to our policy, please let us know. Your continued use of the Application, Software, or Services following any changes indicates your acceptance of those changes.

Except as set out below, we do not share, sell, or disclose personally identifiable information collected by us.

We do not typically disclose personal information to overseas recipients unless consent has been given or an exception applies. We ensure overseas recipients follow the Australian Privacy Principles and the Privacy Act of 1988.

We are committed to ensuring your information is secure. We have implemented suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure. However, no information transmitted over the Internet can be guaranteed to be secure. Transmission and exchange of information are carried out at your own risk.

Financial Information

We do not take credit card information through our Application or Software. For direct debit arrangements, the information is passed to our bank for processing per our instructions, and we keep a copy.

When you send a message, we collect the information in that message to confirm your entitlement and provide the requested information. We record requests and replies to increase business eTiciency.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about how we have collected or handled your personal information, please contact us. We will address the complaint and attempt to resolve it. If unresolved, a formal complaint may be lodged in writing. We will acknowledge receipt and provide a response timeframe. If unhappy with our response, you may refer the complaint to the OTice of the Australian Information Commissioner.
